How to Welcome Spring into Your Home columbia town center

Here are some suggestions for some fun activities your family can try this spring.

We are well into March, which means we made it through the coldest season, and we can trade our winter layers for the lightness of spring. While it may still be a few weeks until the warm weather is here for good, it’s a great time to start preparing your home for the season and spend more time in the community. Here are some suggestions for some simple activities your family can try this spring.

Brighten Up Your Front Porch

Nothing says spring like color. Choose your favorites, or stick with the classic greens, yellows, whites, and blues. Or you can go with pastel colors over the vibrant and bright hues. Use this color palette to create an entry to warmly welcome the new season and your visitors. Hang a spring wreath on your door, place pots of flowers on either side, and add a new welcome mat. All these accessories can work together to brighten your day when you return home.

Do Some Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning has several benefits, and it’s the perfect time to declutter your home. Take any unwanted items in good shape to your local donation center or host a yard sale, and try to get your neighbors involved. Another excuse to get outside with your friends and neighbors!

Bring Spring Indoors

Buying fresh flowers or a beautiful new plant adds a nice finishing touch to your refreshed space. Fresh flowers complete the spring look and make you a happier person. Plants can improve indoor air quality, brighten your mood, and even boost creative energy. That’s exactly what you need to start spring off right!
