The snow is melting, and the weather is warming in Howard County. This makes now a great time to get outside, spend time in nature, and connect with your neighbors. There are many opportunities for Town Center residents to get more involved in the general happenings of their neighborhood. Here are a few events and info sessions coming up in Columbia Town Center.
Town Center Columbia Cleans
Join Town Center Community Association, your friends, and neighbors for a community clean-up. We’ll be cleaning the multi-use path around Lake Kittamaqundi.
Meet on the patio above the lakefront fountain near Millie Bailey Park and Whole Foods at 10:00 am on Sunday, April 11th. We’ll provide trash bags and water to keep you refreshed. Please bring work gloves if you have them.
This is an excellent opportunity for residents, children, and youth organizations to help the community. All ages are welcome, but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Waivers are required. For participants under 18, a parent/legal guardian must sign the waiver. Waivers will be available at Lake Kittamaquandi on the day of the event.

Howard County Firearms Safe Storage Workshop
Join the Howard County Local Health Improvement Coalition and Tactical 52 for an in-person “Firearm Safe Storage Workshop” focused on responsible ownership and community safety.
