The weather has begun to cool, and the kids are going back to school! It can only mean one thing: fall is on the horizon. If you enjoy sweater weather and pumpkin-flavored treats, autumn is definitely your season. But the fun doesn’t end just because summer is over. There are still many fun activities and things to do in and around the Columbia area. Here are some events in September you can look forward to.
Maryland Restaurant Week
Maryland Restaurant Week kicks off its fourth year on September 13, 2024. For ten days, the Restaurant Association of Maryland will bring all counties and restaurants together to celebrate and support the dining industry.
The dining public is invited to enjoy these Maryland Restaurant Week-specific specials from September 13-22, 2024. Wine in the Garden, Beer in the Barn
Join community members and leaders at the 17th annual Wine in the Garden, Beer in the Barn to celebrate and support the environmental and preservation programs of the Howard County Conservancy. Stroll through the garden enjoying fine wine, craft beer, and nonalcoholic refreshments. Sample delicious food from local restaurants and caterers and explore our native plant garden. Enjoy live bluegrass music while perusing our silent auction and raffle items featuring artwork, getaways, and more! General Admission Tickets are $75. Click here to purchase tickets. Town Center Community Yard Sale
Do you have treasures and trinkets collecting dust around your house? Are you looking to declutter and make some extra cash at the same time? If so, consider checking out our Town Center Community Yard Sale. Town Center’s Yard Sale will be held at Vantage Point Park, 5440 Vantage Point Road, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 9 AM to 12 PM (raindate: October 5th). Bring your own table and your treasures for a morning of community and treasure finding.
