Public Comments’ Period for Town Center Architectural Guidelines Updates
Each of Columbia’s ten villages have Architectural Guidelines that are changed every 5-8 years to stay current with changes in County, State and/or Federal Law. The Village of Town Center’s ARC Guidelines were last updated in 2019 and are in need of important changes to comply with recent changes to Federal and State laws such as:
- the right to install EV Charging Stations/Units in privately owned units or in HOA common areas
- the right to plant gardens in a style that saves water and protects the environment
- the right to place satellite dishes on roofs.
Property values remain consistently high in areas where covenants exist, and there is the peace of mind that comes from knowing that community standards and guidelines regulate changes to homes.
