Wine in the Woods
Join your neighbors at Symphony Woods in Columbia for the 31st year and celebrate the charm and character of an event that has aged to perfection! Wine in the Woods is the largest wine festival in Maryland and voted Best Festival in Howard County. Enjoy a glass of wine from Maryland’s finest wineries during the festival (or a bottle to share with friends). Prefer a beer? Purchase a beverage from one of the on-site, local craft breweries. Heroes Grove Fundraiser
Come to Game On Bar + Arcade on Monday, May 19th from 4-7 pm to help raise funds for the future Heroes Grove project at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center!
20% of all food and drink sales and 100% of all raffle sales will be donated to the hospital.
The fundraiser will help the effort to transform Heroes Grove into a nurturing oasis for patients, patient families, staff, and community members. Mental health will affect 1 in 3 people at some point in their lives. A respite space like Heroes Grove will provide anyone on the JHHCMC campus with a place to relax and recharge, ultimately relieving stress, burnout, and anxiety. Click here to learn more.
Food Truck Wednesdays
The vibrant Merriweather District in Downtown Columbia is excited to launch its Wednesday Food Truck Program from May 7th to October 29th, 2025! We’re creating a lively midweek experience for our community, offering a diverse culinary journey every Wednesday.
There will be a rotating selection of food trucks to bring variety and excitement to each Wednesday. Whether you love savory, sweet, international flavors, or comfort food, there are delicious treats for everyone!
Running Brook Elementary Spring Fair
Join us for our annual Spring Fair. Carnival games, inflatables, magician, food trucks, face painting, music and more. The fair will once again have fun games, face painting, tasty food, Royal Flush (featuring RBES staff!), Rock-Climbing Wall, Obstacle Course, and much more!
